Living Will vs. Power of Attorney

06/24/2006

As the medical profession slides towards relativistic ethics, let alone assisted suicide, people need to recognize that a living will is a bad idea and there is a simple legal alternative. Attorney Rita Barker, executive director of the International Task Force on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide (www.internationaltaskforce.org), joins us.

Then we’ll “cracker barrel” with Zapata George (www.zapatageorge.com) at his home overlooking the border between the U.S. and Mexico about shielding one’s self from the economic debacles facing the U.S. today.

Heads up: We’re doing one of our “famous” conference calls in two weeks. This is a “Chaos Conference,” featuring a volatile mix of guests: futurist James Kunstler, Dr. Stan Monteith, Jim Puplava, Don McAlvany, Pat Wood and Carl Teichrib. It’s anyone’s guess where this will go once this group cuts loose.

Oh yes, no boralogue today. (Hooray!)
