Connecting Dots in the Middle East

08/05/2006

The majority of today’s program will be dedicated to providing connecting issues behind the Middle East Conflict.

First, Avi Lipkin (www.vicmord.com) joins us for a segment to alert listeners to the emerging division between Sunni and Shia Muslims and potential for disruption in the Middle East from unknown sources.

Then we’ll take a quick look at the issue of water scarcity as a geopolitical factor with Chris Mayer (www.dailyreckoning.com).

Finally John does an extended history of Muslim views of the Middle East conflict, dating back to the beginning of the 20th Century.

John’s boralogue provides an update on the Security and Prosperity partnership to unite the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
