Faded Green Old Deal

America has become polarized on a massive scale. In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the extreme dichotomy in Congress, with ultra-radical leftists on one side versus the other side that’s becoming more and more conservative. This has resulted in a struggle by the establishment of both parties to regain control. It has become oppressor versus oppressed and it will take a strong truth-based worldview to survive.

The Green New Deal sounds familiar because it’s repackaged Agenda 21 language. We welcome back Tom DeWeese (www.americanpolicy.org), Founder and President of the American Policy Center, who describes the plan to eliminate sovereignty and private property ownership embedded in the language of these agendas.

The World Council of Churches often send in volunteers to observe life “under the occupation” in Israel and then return to the U.S. to advocate for anti-Israel policies in their churches and communities. Yona Schiffmiller (www.ngo-monitor.org), Research Director at NGO Monitor examines how the UN is involved and asks: is this anti-Israel or anti-Semitism or both?

If this isn’t the End Times, it is definitely a convincing dress rehearsal. Shane Idleman (www.shaneidleman.com), Founder and Lead Pastor at Westside Christian Fellowship in California, discusses how political correctness has influenced churches and sermons and advocates for a strong truth-based character for pastors moving forward.

John and Producer Steve finish off the show this week reviewing stories making news including a failed Brexit vote, Paul Manafort’s sentencing, and an unfair, unequal system of justice.

John’s quote of the week:
You see how intersectionality is affecting us. It’s becoming harder and harder to tell friend from foe, truth from narrative. You cannot run a country or a society on intersectionality. You just can’t. It results in nothing but chaos and disaster.

In this week’s Extras segment, we play a round-table from 2013 focusing on change agents, how they operate, and how community meetings really work. It was relevant then and it’s relevant today. Very entertaining round table. Plus, how often do you hear John use the phrase ‘Teflon roller coaster?’
