Invasion of Privacy

When the EU was being formed, there were warning signs that sovereignty would be in jeopardy. In this week’s boralogue, John notes that those warning signs are coming true as sovereignty is being eroded slowly step by step. In 2016, the people fought back, both with the Brexit vote and the election of Donald Trump. But opponents to both of those events, who claim the warning signs aren’t there, are attempting to thwart the will and the sovereignty of the people.

What exactly are the terms and conditions we all blindly agree to with our electronic devices? Privacy expert Rex Lee (, Intelligence and Strategy Advisor for Blackops Partners, shows that we are being monitored by our devices nearly all the time and the collected data is used in ways that may alarm us. It goes beyond just marketing – it’s about power and control.

We welcome to the program the founder of the Duck Commander Company and star of the reality TV show Duck Dynasty, Mr. Phil Robertson ( who discusses his new book, The Theft of America’s Soul, about the moral slide in America and how we can reverse it.

John and Steve finish out the program this week examining several news stories including violations of free speech in England, a confrontation between two protected classes in an interesting example of intersectionality, and the media’s reaction to the New Zealand shooting.

John’s quote of the week:
“Facebook and Twitter: are they really content publishers or are they simply common carriers? That’s going to have to be decided and it’s going to have to be done in the near future. If they’re common carriers, they don’t have the right to censor all of this stuff.”

In this week’s Extras segment, we fire up the way back machine again all the way back to December 2006 for a Steel on Steel interview with Pastor Kevin Johnson. He and John discuss the emergent church movement and church growth, plans for those churches held in secret, and ways to defend your church from a takeover.
