Loeffler’s Famous Cranberry Sauce Recipe

  • 1 lb. fresh cranberries.
  • 2 cups brown sugar.
  • 1 cup apricot brandy.

Add all ingredients to a saucepan on medium to high heat and stir. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, leave uncovered. Stir occasionally and let simmer until it reaches the desired thickness and the cranberries are fully cooked (about 1 hr. on very low heat). Makes 6 to 10 servings. Serve it hot or chilled.

  1. Thanks John. I started using your famile recipe a couple years ago and everyone just loves it. I was sitting here this morning trying ti remember the recipe and thought to mtself, I wonder if I can find it on Steel on Steels website and whala.
