When you go against the norms of the far left, there is a chance that you can discuss the differences with them, but most likely you will fall victim to cancel culture. Dr. Jeff Myers (www.summit.org), President of Summit Ministries is with us today to discuss his organization’s methods to counteract Marxist thought in the classroom. Apologizing in the hopes that they will forgive you will still get you canceled.
Dr. Myers asserts that it’s best when responding to cancelers not to name call and try to destroy like they do. If they’re willing to talk, it’s possible to find a solution. But in other instances when your grade or your job is on the line, a different strategy may be needed, such as taking an accuser to court. Sometimes though, people get to the point that no matter the circumstance, they just have to say, “I will not sit down. I will not shut up.”
