Ben Voth: Morality in Voting

Broadcast Running Time: 19:57

A question arose during the election cycle about how Christians could vote for someone as obviously flawed as President Trump.  Dr. Ben Voth (benvoth.com), Associate Professor and Director of Debate at Southern Methodist University, joins us to address that question.  He gives several examples from the Bible of leaders who were less than righteous, including Paul and David.  The question is: can the person get the job done?  He also looks at the quality of presidential debates, what can be done to change them, and the importance globally of teaching debate.
