Why do Marxists find in Christian churches a mortal enemy? To answer that, we fire up the way back machine to January 1992 and an interview John did with then-CNN correspondent Bud Bultman about his book Revolution by Candlelight. There were many underground churches in Eastern Europe who led the fight against tyranny in the late 1980s. They were ultimately successful in part because they were refuges for those opposed to the governing power. This is why tyrants today are so threatened by the Christian church and why they’ll stop at nothing to take them down.
Since this interview aired nearly 29 years ago, Bud Bultman has retired from CNN and runs his own company in Florida. His book, Revolution by Candlelight, can be found on Amazon.
