The Pennsbury School Board, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania north of Philadelphia, recently became the latest flashpoint for angry parents – and the Board’s attempts to shut them up. One parent is fighting back by taking the school board to court. Joining us today is a plaintiff in that suit, free speech activist Simon Campbell. Simon, a former Pennsbury School Board member himself, explains what led up to his fiery appearance before the board in June and the subsequent lawsuit. He discusses the rules of the board and how they counteract the U.S. Constitution. He also looks at ways to improve education, including diminishing teachers unions and advocating for merit-based teacher pay. He’s the very embodiment of John’s axiom: I will not sit down; I will not shut up!
