Kay Hymowitz: So Grammar and Reading are Racist Now

How did we ever get to the point where teaching children to read and write is looked at as a racist act?  Joining us today to answer that is Kay Hymowitz (city-journal.org), Editor at the City Journal and Fellow at the Manhattan Institute.  To say that minority children shouldn’t have to learn correct grammar because that’s racist is, by itself, a racist statement.  The freedoms, the laws, and the advancements of Western culture have all been possible due to a proper education.  With this racist grammar assertion, elites are negating and denying everything that gave everybody – from every racial group – a positive step forward.  That’s the insanity of where we are.
