Judicial Activism Takes a Hit

Broadcast Running Time: 01:19:30

The Supreme Court is supposed to determine the constitutionality of laws, not give people what they want. John opens the show this week looking at some of the recent Supreme Court decisions – namely the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade – and gives a history of judicial activism. The crazy narratives that have been pushed for so many years have now hit reality and the pendulum is starting to swing the other way. People are beginning to see through the Marxist ideology and post-modern thinking that saturates our society today.

An example of a narrative that is still firmly entrenched, at least in California, is that of environmental activism and the state’s policy on water. Joining us is Edward Ring (edwardring.com), Senior Fellow at the Center for American Greatness. These activists are adamant that no desalination plants be built in California, even though the process would help the state’s water issues. He debunks the ‘bad for the environment’ talking points and shows how California has become a de-facto communist state of crushing bureaucracy.

Finally this week, we look to Ukraine since there’s still a war going on there. Reuben Johnson, our Ukraine expert, is back with us to give updates on how ineffective the Russian military has been, mostly from poor leadership. He also addresses rumors about Vladimir Putin’s health and comments on the recent attack on a Ukraine shopping center.
