Abraham Accords

John tells us every day that Steel on Steel focuses on economics, politics, and religion. Today, we welcome the Director of Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer (jihadwatch.org) to the podcast, to discuss how all three of those issues are immersed in global dysfunction. He looks at the surging reliance on digital currency platforms, the moving away from the dollar, how bad policies by the Biden administration are projecting weakness to the world, and the nature of jihad and Christian persecution around the world.

It's common today to refer to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam collectively as the Abrahamic religions. Is there a reason for this? Joining us today from Melbourne, Australia is Mark Durie (markdurie.com), Director of the Institute for Spiritual Awareness. There are clear differences between the faiths and its important to have honest conversations about not only current issues but also their history if we're going to understand those differences. Often politically correct pressure gets in the way, people start screaming about extremism and hate, and suddenly respecting someone whose beliefs you don't agree with becomes impossible. Let's have that honest conversation today.

A military should be focused on defense of a country and being better than the enemy. But our military has begun to focus on social engineering issues instead. First up this week is Retired Air Force Colonel Mike Angley, who served 25 years in the Office of Special Investigations for the Air Force. He looks at new woke policies in the military, including snitch phone lines and diversity training. Many of these policies would lower morale, discipline, and unit cohesion. In other words, defense and being better than our enemies have been overtaken by political correctness.

And when it comes to government policies, our current administration is reverting back to Obama-era programs, despite their previous failures. Back with us today is Ken Timmerman (kentimmerman.com), CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. He examines the Biden Middle East policy, especially where it concerns Iran, and how Iran has not had to concede anything in a newly resurrected Iran Deal. He also looks at the future of the Abraham Accords now that the Trump administration is out of power.

We may never know exactly where the Covid virus came from, but it's looking more like it could have originated in a lab in China. Rounding out the show this week is Dr. Roger Klein (rogerdklein.com), Chief Medical Officer at the cancer genomic company Omniseq. There will be investigations into the virus's origins, but will anything come of it? Will we learn anything from the past year? Dr. Klein discusses supply chain deficiencies, the need to rely solely on science and not politics, and whether lockdowns were the right move.

The Biden administration's Middle East policy, especially where it concerns Iran, is reverting back to what the Obama administration had done before – despite the previous failures. Back with us today is Ken Timmerman (kentimmerman.com), CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. He explores why, if it always ends in failure, the current administration would bother with the Obama-era Middle East plan. Apparently Iran has not had to concede anything in this newly resurrected Iran Deal. He also looks at the future of the Abraham Accords now that the Trump administration is out of power.

It's time we had a discussion on the violence in Israel and the media's complicity in it. John and Producer Steve sit down and examine the events that have led up to the current violence. They then look at the rockets being fired from Gaza into Israel, the Iron Dome catching nearly all of them. Israel retaliates, doing all they can to minimize civilian casualties. But the media only report if there are casualties in Gaza, regardless of who caused it. They unilaterally condemn Israel and favor Palestinians. It's all part of Hamas's strategy to diminish Israel in the eyes of the world. The strategy is working because the media play their part.
