The slippery slope fallacy is the claim that a particular action will trigger a negative chain of events, positing as true a number of vaguely defined steps in between that draws out an emotional response. John leads off the show this week looking at a couple of slippery slope examples in the news today.

We then transition to the topic of fraud and how many people have claimed that there was plenty of it in the 2020 election. More than a year later, technology has uncovered a portion of that fraud, known as phantom voting. We welcome fraud detection expert Jay Valentine (contingencysales.com) to the show. He explains what phantom voting is, how sovereign fraud is corrupting the voting process, and reveals that certain groups were allowed real-time access to voting information the night of the election. This fraud must be reformed if the integrity of this country is to remain intact.

When the Biden administration shamefully pulled out of Afghanistan, Americans and equipment were left behind. But Afghan women, who had enjoyed a little freedom while U.S. troops were there, also became trapped after the pullout. Joining us today is Dr. John Barber (johnbarberbooks.com), Professor of Theology at Whitefield Theological Seminary. He is an expert on the plight of women in the Middle East and North Africa and shows us what life is like for women there. He also looks at ways Christians can help.

Finally, we dive into the free speech issue, especially where it concerns censorship by Big Tech elites in Silicon Valley. Freelance writer Michael Tennant (thenewamerican.com) wraps up the show this week discussing Section 230, search result manipulation, and the public-private workaround being perpetrated by the government and Big Tech.

When the Biden administration shamefully pulled out of Afghanistan, they left behind many Americans.  But the women of Afghanistan are trapped there as well.  Interesting that feminist groups aren't outraged about how women are treated in that country.  Joining us today is Dr. John Barber (johnbarberbooks.com), Professor of Theology at Whitefield Theological Seminary.  He explains the role of women in the Arab culture so that those of us in the West can better understand.  He looks at the way women are treated, how Western progressives excuse it, and what Christians can do to help.

When the Taliban took over control of Afghanistan, there were some Afghan women who did not feel safe in their own country.  One woman is spearheading efforts to help get them out.  That woman, best-selling author and feminist leader Dr. Phyllis Chesler (phyllis-chesler.com), is with us today.  She describes her efforts at rescuing any Afghan woman who is educated and has a career from a terrible fate.  She and John also dive into the topic of immigration – the sticky issues and questions, especially surrounding Muslim immigrants and assimilation into Western culture.

After several weeks of intense reading and studying, John asked author, researcher, and Spanish language radio host César Vidal (cesarvidal.com) to be on the program. He joins us this week to discuss the new kind of socialism we're seeing in the West. It has technocracy, public-private partnerships, and a particularly insidious campaign to demonize nationalism and infiltrate the Christian church by undermining its roots. It's all part of their attempt to destroy America and the West.

We then move to Texas and its new state abortion ban. Abortions are down as a result and opponents are frustrated. But could that frustration boomerang back on conservatives? Next up this week is Jacob Sullum (reason.com), Senior Editor at Reason Magazine. He looks at the pros and cons of the Texas bill and the precedents it could set. This bill, which seems great for pro-lifers, could be detrimental to other conservative issues and groups in the future.

Finally this week, little is being said about Iran after the Afghanistan debacle, but a new report suggests that Iran could be weeks away from possessing nuclear weapons. Ken Timmerman (iran.org), President and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, rounds out the show this week. Iran's nuclear program is advancing, but their government is in disarray. Unfortunately for us, the Biden administration and our military seem just as chaotic.

Just yesterday, John made his once-a-month appearance on KYMS, a local station here in the Inland Northwest, with host Lee Lancaster. The two discuss a variety of topics, including the so-called Haitians being whipped story on the border, the overall crisis on the border, and why the news is so distorted now. They also look at the new globalist buzzword – interdependence, which translates into an erosion of sovereignty and more crises. John finishes up with a persecution update, including a harrowing story about aid workers delivering supplies in Pakistan to Christian families who had just escaped neighboring Afghanistan.

In Mark 11, Jesus asked the Pharisees to decide if the baptism of John was from heaven or from men. Instead of making a decision, they sat on the fence and claimed ignorance. Artur Pawlowski (streetchurch.ca), Founder of Street Church Ministries in Alberta, Canada, spoke in our area recently and John caught up with him for an interview. Artur shows what the battle ahead will look like for Western civilization and what we must do to win. We must get off the fence and stand up to tyranny. We know what tyranny looks like from history so we should be able to recognize it now. Making that decision is scary, but with God on our side and an iron resolve, we can successfully make a stand and choose what side of the fence we want to be on.

If what is happening doesn't make sense, there must be another agenda afoot. And today, there are many things that don't make sense. Back with us this week is John Guandolo (understandingthethreat.com), Founder of Understanding the Threat. He maintains that many of these illogical events – like the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan – are intentional. Change agents come to town trying to distract you from the truth of what's happening but people are beginning to see through the charade and wake up. He shows us what we can do.

Finally this week we welcome to the show Joseph Puder (frontpagemag.com), columnist at FrontPage Magazine. He examines America's reputation in the world after the pullout from Afghanistan. Our allies around the world don't trust us and our enemies are more emboldened. Does that mean attacks on U.S. soil are imminent?

With all the news surrounding Afghanistan, little is being said about Iran, but a new report suggests the mullahcracy may be weeks away from nuclear weapons. Back with us, is our Iran expert Ken Timmerman (iran.org), President and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. There are geopolitical consequences following our pullout from Afghanistan, including the Iran nuclear program advancements and the policies from the current U.S. administration that isn't standing in their way. He covers the dysfunction inside Biden's military as well as within the Iranian government.

We have two guests for you today.  First up is Joseph Puder (frontpagemag.com), columnist at FrontPage Magazine.  He looks at how the world, as well as the jihadists in the Middle East, view the U.S. after the disastrous Afghanistan pullout.  Our enemies around the world are more emboldened and it could result in attacks on U.S. soil.

We then move to our second guest, Becky Dummermuth (firstliberty.org), counsel at First Liberty Institute.  She relates the story of two flight attendants who were fired for giving their opinions about their employer – opinions the employer asked for!  The company says the opinions were discriminatory; the flight attendants say the company violated their First Amendment and religious freedom rights.

John often says that if what is happening doesn't make sense, there's another agenda afoot. Well, there are a lot of things happening today that don't make sense. Joining us is John Guandolo (understandingthethreat.com), Founder of Understanding the Threat. He maintains that many of these crazy events, which defy logic – the unbelievably bad exit from Afghanistan or much of the messaging behind covid – is intentional. Change agents swoop in and try to distract the public from what's really going on but people are starting to see through that and wake up. He offers solutions on how to dig out from this.

What is happening with Christians in Afghanistan? Joining us today for a brief Sunday conversation is Will Stark (persecution.org), Regional Manager for South Asia at International Christian Concern. Many Christians are wondering if they should either try to escape via a land border to another country or stay and accept God's will for them, even if that happens to be persecution. He details some of the hardships facing Christians there and what can be done to help them.
