China is positioning itself in various arenas to become the world's biggest superpower and thus de facto leader on the world stage. Retired U.S. Navy Intelligence Captain James Fanell is back with us today from his home in Switzerland to lend his geopolitical expertise. He looks at the disingenuous words coming from Chinese leadership about how they want unity and peace, but their actions say something completely different. Under President Trump, we were attempting to stay even with China, but with the new Biden administration, the fear is we will lose any tactical advantage we once had. From a military buildup that is vastly outpacing the U.S. to their efforts at information warfare online, China is set to surpass the U.S. as the world's most dominant superpower.

Economics, politics, and religion are the three primary topics discussed on Steel on Steel. This week, we open the show with an extended conversation featuring all three topics. Joining John are David McAlvany and Kevin Orrick (www.mcalvanyweeklycommentary.com), co-hosts of the McAlvany Weekly Commentary, which you can find on our Steel Podcast Network. They examine the economy possibility of another Cold War, this time with China, and how the global economy is affected by the U.S. election cycle. Marxism is now playing a greater role in global economics and politics. They also discuss Christianity's threat to communism and relying on God during times of crises. Finishing up the show this week, we welcome Dr. John Lott, Founder and President of the Crime Prevention Research Center (www.crimeresearch.org). He looks at several gun control myths and how the media misrepresent the facts surrounding shootings and completely ignore the ‘good guy with a gun saves the day' stories. He also paints a picture as to what this country would look like should all guns be outlawed.

Joining us for part one of a two-day round table discussion are Dave McAlvany and Kevin Orrick, Co-Hosts of the McAlvany Weekly Commentary, prominently featured on the Steel Podcast Network. Today, they discuss the increased reliance on credit, the economy possibility of another Cold War, this time with China, and how the global economy is affected by the U.S. election cycle.

Protests have erupted around the United States. Why is it happening and what can it tell us about other areas of the world? In this week's boralogue, John looks at how people are protesting against the media, politicians, and the education elites who are trying to push their ideologies in the midst of a crisis. Those institutions are lashing out now that they are being challenged. John also reminds us that while we have the right to protest and attend church online in the U.S., people in other countries are not afforded that luxury.

Dr. Anthony Fauci recently commented that we may be headed toward a national immunity ID card for everyone. Writer and researcher Dennis Behreandt (www.thenewamerican.com) joins us to discuss whether an immunity ID will blossom into a national or international ID and how it's being developed in the shadows and without the consent of the populace.

With the help of clips from the McAlvany Weekly Commentary, John de-tangles the mess that is the oil markets this week, explaining the trades at negative values and the overall fragility of the global economic system.

Are we approaching a cold war with China? Retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Robert Spalding (www.hudson.org) is back with us to point out that we've already been in a cold war with China, only now we are fighting back. He also covers how our biased media is running interference for the Chinese Communist Party.

Christian persecution occurs almost everywhere, but there's been a surprising uptick in the Westersphere. Ellen Fantini (www.intoleranceagainstchristians.eu), Executive Director of the Observatory on Intolerance Against Christians in Europe discusses the various sources of pressure against Christians in the West and how speech is being hijacked to silence the politically incorrect.

John's quote of the week:
“Agendas tend to rumble along underneath the surface being funded either by government or private organizations. Then invariably something will happen – an opportunistic event. Suddenly you see the agendas pop above the surface that have been there all along.”

On this week's extra segment, we play a boralogue from August 2018 regarding the slow-rolling agenda of globalists. John provides several examples from history where globalists are blatantly telling us what they plan to do. Then we play the follow-up interview on globalism with Alex Newman from that same week.
