Eliminating cash and transitioning to an all-digital currency may make some people nervous, especially if the digital currency is backed by the government. Leading off the show this week is silver expert David Morgan (themorganreport.com), author of the Morgan Report. He and John look at the possibility that the U.S. government could shift to digital currency, giving them control over all transactions. Bitcoin, the current leader in digital money, will either face off against the establishment or be co-opted by it. David also predicts what could happen with inflation and our massive debt.

We then move in-house with a conversation between John and Producer Steve. They examine the media's lack of journalism in parroting the administration's wavering virus messaging as well as using conflicting scientific papers in the virus and vaccine battle. They also discuss the tendency for the truth to win out in the end, how mandates violate freedom, and even some unprofessional undercover activity on the part of federal law enforcement.

Finally, we welcome to the show Mike Berry (firstliberty.org), General Counsel for First Liberty Institute and member of the U.S. Marine Corps. It is getting harder for members of the armed forces to honor the military oath. It says you are to support and defend the Constitution, but it also says you are to obey the orders of the President and superior officers. With woke leadership demonizing conservative military members for their beliefs, eventually our enemies will defeat us without firing a shot.

On today's podcast, John and Producer Steve sit down to chat about the media's tightrope walk with virus and vaccine coverage, pushing the vaccines but also insisting that masks and lockdowns are necessary. The administration's virus messaging wavers almost on a daily basis and so the media's does as well. They also look at the battle of scientific papers, the tendency for the truth to always win out in the end, mandates as a violation of freedom, and some nefarious undercover activity on the part of federal law enforcement.

Reality eventually becomes real for everyone and when it does, it usually hurts. On today's podcast, John looks at several news stories including how the Jewish community in America is experiencing violence following the recent Israel-Gaza war and they're beginning to wake up to the reality that the Left, the side most of them have been on for awhile, really don't like them. Also, countries in Europe are facing the reality of cultural violence following the massive Islamic migration of a few years ago. Even the Vatican is encountering the truth after releasing statements on abortion. The mainstream media is to a certain extent facing reality, though they constantly weave narratives to cover it up. Reality always becomes real. How you handle it will determine how much pain you'll be in when it happens.

Spiritual Muscle Memory

Broadcast Running Time: 01:18:14

When times of trouble come upon you and you're facing spiritual red lines, you should already have plans in place on how to deal with it. This week, we speak to two gentlemen who are facing these red lines. First up is Artur Pawlowski (streetchurch.ca), the pastor in Calgary, Alberta who defied the authorities during a Passover service this year, telling them to leave, and calling them Nazis. Later, he and his brother were arrested. He describes his current situation including his arrest and goes on to compare it to the tactics of the communist authorities he witnessed growing up in Poland.

Next we visit with a man who has been battling religious persecution for nearly a decade. Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cake Shop in Lakewood, Colorado, is joined by one his lawyers, Jake Warner (adflegal.org) of Alliance Defending Freedom. They recount the various legal cases Jack has endured and where they are now. Jack also describes his spiritual journey, including his decision to make plans early on as to how to handle the very situation in which he finds himself. These men created spiritual muscle memory in order to endure the hard times.

Finally this week, we welcome someone from across the Pond to analyze America's exceptionalism and the pros and cons that come with it. Joining us from France is Howard Burton (ideas-on-film.com), Founder and Creator of Ideas on Film. He compares and contrasts the perceptions of America from people abroad with those who live here. Few Americans think about their own country's exceptionalism and some even think we're far from outstanding. It's important to know your strengths and weaknesses and do so in truth.

A pastor in Calgary, Alberta defied the authorities during a Passover service this year, telling them to leave, and calling them Nazis. Later, he and his brother were arrested. That pastor, Artur Pawlowski (streetchurch.ca) joins us today. He is the Founder of Street Church Ministries in Calgary. He recaps his arrest and compares it to the tactics of the communist authorities he witnessed growing up in Poland. He came to Canada to escape totalitarianism and he fears that we are seeing it blossom here in the West now. Judaism and Christianity are being singled out while other religions are left alone. There is a spiritual battle taking place but a lot of churches don't seem willing to go to battle. They will need to if they are to survive.

Jeff Kinley: Christians’ Finest Hour

Broadcast Running Time: 19:18

Whether we are entering the Great Reset or the End Times – or both – Christians need to be ready. Joining us today is Jeff Kinley (jeffkinley.com), Founder of Main Things Ministries, who discusses the gradual reawakening of America's churches following months of lockdowns and virus-related issues. Religious freedom has been threatened but some Christians are starting to push back. If we are to be salt and light to the world, we first need to return to meeting together and reading the Word. And discernment is key; it focuses us on what is important.

In his speech before a sparse joint session of Congress, Joe Biden uttered the following unscripted words on climate change, "If we do everything perfectly, it's not going to ultimately matter." Well, if that is the case, why are we spending trillions of dollars in taxpayer money to try and fix it? Joining us today is Steve Milloy, Founder of the climate information website JunkScience.com. He points out that even though apparently their solutions won't matter, they are still pushing forward with them to the point where instead of Covid lockdowns, we will have climate lockdowns. So if it won't work, why do it? The answer just may be about ultimate control over everything.

We have three parts to today's show. John opens up with a brief analysis of an upcoming PBS documentary that purposefully misrepresents former President Trump's words when it came to Israel and the West Bank. They deceptively edited press conference footage to make it seem like Trump said things he really didn't say. Will they correct it before it is scheduled to air this weekend or will they broadcast it anyway?

We then transition to two separate interviews focusing on the collision of established First Amendment rights and those that have been newly created. First up is Kate Anderson (adflegal.org), Senior Counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, who gives us an update on the seemingly never-ending legal battles of Colorado cake baker Jack Phillips.

We wrap up the show with Lathan Watts (firstliberty.org), Director of Public Affairs at First Liberty Institute. He looks at the issue of government officials treating churches differently and unfairly when it comes to the pandemic and the lockdowns. The Constitution doesn't take a break just because there's an emergency.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…" Thus begins the First Amendment. Jeremy Dys (www.firstliberty.org), Special Counsel for First Liberty, joins us to show examples of how government has chosen to ignore the free exercise part of that amendment. There weren't many examples of having to defend our rights until the early 1940s when the number of religious liberty cases increased dramatically.

Jeremy discusses how the government is demanding that the public do things instead of giving them important information and trusting the public to make the right decision. And when it comes to religion, it is being treated more like an infecting virus than COVID-19.

Some new rules and mandates, infringing on our freedom, have popped up but are they legal? Twila Brase (www.cchfreedom.org), President and Co-Founder of Citizens' Council for Health Freedom joins us to discuss the case of a Kentucky couple who tested positive for the virus but didn't want to sign an agreement forcing them to self-quarantine – so the authorities fitted them with ankle monitors. These controversial rights-impeding acts are excitedly written up but then politicians shelve them until a crisis happens and then it's introduced at the precise moment when people are scared enough to accept it. John finishes out today's podcast looking at government criteria for future vaccine use and the ethical and legal implications in vaccine development and implementation.
