A military should be focused on defense of a country and being better than the enemy. But our military has begun to focus on social engineering issues instead. First up this week is Retired Air Force Colonel Mike Angley, who served 25 years in the Office of Special Investigations for the Air Force. He looks at new woke policies in the military, including snitch phone lines and diversity training. Many of these policies would lower morale, discipline, and unit cohesion. In other words, defense and being better than our enemies have been overtaken by political correctness.

And when it comes to government policies, our current administration is reverting back to Obama-era programs, despite their previous failures. Back with us today is Ken Timmerman (kentimmerman.com), CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. He examines the Biden Middle East policy, especially where it concerns Iran, and how Iran has not had to concede anything in a newly resurrected Iran Deal. He also looks at the future of the Abraham Accords now that the Trump administration is out of power.

We may never know exactly where the Covid virus came from, but it's looking more like it could have originated in a lab in China. Rounding out the show this week is Dr. Roger Klein (rogerdklein.com), Chief Medical Officer at the cancer genomic company Omniseq. There will be investigations into the virus's origins, but will anything come of it? Will we learn anything from the past year? Dr. Klein discusses supply chain deficiencies, the need to rely solely on science and not politics, and whether lockdowns were the right move.

Holy Land Against the World

Broadcast Running Time: 01:17:36

Israel is very much in the news right now but the media narratives are not matching the facts on the ground. We open our Israel focus this week with John's analysis of what's happening in Israel versus the spin you're getting from the news. He looks at the Temple Mount riots, the violence in East Jerusalem, and rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel and Israel's response.

We then move to an often-pushed narrative in the media and on college campuses that Israel is an apartheid state. Here this week is someone who has lived in both South Africa and Israel, Reverend Malcolm Hedding (www.malcolmhedding.com), Associate Minister of World Outreach Church. He describes what conditions were like for blacks living under apartheid and what life is like today for Palestinians in Israel and there is positively no comparison. He also looks at how social justice in Western schools has led to the Israel apartheid narrative.

The U.S. economy – along with that of the rest of the world – is on shaky ground at the moment. John and Carol round out the show this week with a Steel on Steel economic summit to make sense of what's going on. They look at the difference between monetary policy and fiscal policy and how for the first time in history, fiscal policy is winning out. All safety measures and accountability have been removed from the economy and the whole thing is being held together by confidence. Once that confidence erodes, the whole system collapses.

It's fair to say that the U.S. economy – along with that of the rest of the world – is on shaky ground at the moment. John and Carol sit down for a Steel on Steel economic summit today to make sense of what's going on. They play clips of economists and do their own analysis, making a dry topic easy to understand and interesting. They look at the difference between monetary policy and fiscal policy and how for the first time in history, fiscal policy is winning out. All the safety measures and accountability have been removed from the economy and the whole thing is being held together by confidence. Once the confidence erodes, the whole system collapses. How long can we keep playing this game?

We notice that freedoms are starting to erode in the United States, but how are the other countries in the Westersphere faring? We begin this week by looking at a couple of stories from our neighbors to the north. Joining us is Christine Douglass-Williams (frontpagemag.com), Associate Editor at FrontPage Magazine and current Canadian citizen. She looks at Bill C10 which would limit private user's speech online if the government doesn't approve of it. She also examines how two people have been arrested simply for attending a church in Ontario Province that defied lockdown orders and held a service. Backlash is building in Canada, but is it too little too late?

We then turn our attention to Australia where John was a guest on Joshua Ferrara's podcast recently. The two discuss the importance of worldviews and the friction caused by Marxist thinking and tactics. They also look at how Australia is handling political correctness and methods employed by leftists against conservatives who won't put up with the woke agenda. Totalitarianism doesn't happen all at once; it occurs gradually over time. It's important to spot the increments and stop it before it's too late.

There are disturbing news stories coming from our neighbor to the north and here today to talk about them is Christine Douglass-Williams (frontpagemag.com), Associate Editor at FrontPage Magazine and current Canadian citizen. She looks at Bill C10 which would limit private user's speech online if it happens to be speech the government doesn't like. She also discusses how two people have been arrested simply for attending a church in Ontario Province that defied lockdown orders and held a service. She gives the backgrounds of both speech oppression and religious freedom in Canada. There is backlash building against these measures. Totalitarianism doesn't happen all at once; it occurs gradually over time. It's important to spot the increments and stop it before it's too late.

The coronavirus caused nationwide lock-downs and closures and one of the hardest hit sectors was education. Joining John in the studio today is his wife, Carol, who is an education expert and former homeschool teacher and Rachael Grant, who has homeschooled her kids for the last nine years. They discuss the difference between homeschooling your children and learning via the public school at home – two very different situations. The most important factor in how to educate your children is what is contained in the curriculum.
