A Little American History Truth

Broadcast Running Time: 01:19:17

Happy Independence weekend everyone! It's important to learn the truthful history of our country, but the prevailing leftist narrative today is that because some of our Founding Fathers were slave owners, any good that they accomplished is forgotten. First up on this holiday show is Bill Federer (americanminute.com), President of AmeriSearch, Inc. He gives an accurate account of the history of slavery in America: who held slaves, who initiated the abolitionist movement, and where the two political parties have stood on the issue throughout the years. The narrative is that the U.S. is irredeemable because of our history with slavery. What is often ignored is that we also got rid of it.

Much of the immigration debate today is centered around our southern border, but with the current administration's proposed policies, should the focus be elsewhere? We welcome back former U.S. immigration Senior Special Agent Michael Cutler (michaelcutler.net) to the program. He asserts that because thousands of people are entering our country and then are bused away from the border, the U.S. needs to beef up interior enforcement. A majority of the time, there are no interviews and no investigations done, which means random U.S. cities are seeing a sudden spike of new un-vetted residents.

Finally this week, we look at the intriguing possibility of a constitutional crisis should these election audits prove President Trump actually won the election. Rounding out the show is retired engineer John Green, who examines the Supreme Court's role in election integrity prior to and after November 3. Because they refused to hear a case that could have cleared up some questions right after the election, SCOTUS could soon be in the unenviable position of determining if President Biden is really the President. A constitutional crisis may be looming in the coming months.

The narrative currently pushed by some in this country is that the United States is awful and racist and there is oppression against certain groups of people. On today's podcast, John looks at several examples of oppression around the world. Iran just executed a protestor without due process. The ancient Aztecs enslaved surrounding tribes. Oppression has been the norm of history, even in some parts of the world today. Overcoming it, like the United States has done, is unique. Our values led us to eliminate slavery and advocate for equality of all people. So this ‘America is an oppressor' narrative is patently and historically false. For us to survive, truth must prevail.
