Fighting to Reform the System

One proposed solution to fixing the dysfunction of the U.S. Congress is to limit the time members can serve.  Joining us today is Jason Church (sentinelsoffreedom.org), Retired U.S. Army Captain and Wisconsin State Chair for U.S. Term Limits.  He makes his case for limiting Congress members' terms and since they won't limit their own power, he advocates for a Constitutional convention to solve the problem.  Reform is a grungy business but it needs to happen.  The question is how do you achieve the reform without losing the good things in the system?  Or amidst the inevitable pushback from the swamp critters.

If you put your kids in secular, atheist, Marxist seminaries (aka public schools), don't be surprised when you get secular, atheist, Marxists out. What is the best alternative? First up this week, we welcome Chaplain E. Ray Moore (exodusmandate.org), Co-Founder of Frontline Ministries. He describes what his organization is doing to get children out of public education and into private, Christian schools. He reveals his opinions on vouchers, charter schools, and running for school boards. He also urges pastors to get off the sidelines and defend the truth and biblical education.

What would America's founding fathers say about the state of not only education, but our entire country today? Joining us is author Steven Rabb (thefoundersspeech.com), who just wrote a book describing how everything the founders warned us against is now happening. There is a constant end running of the Constitution by those in the swamp who strenuously fight against reform. This has resulted in the chaos we're now seeing. How do we stop it? Return to the founders' idea of what the United States should be.

Finally this week, we dive into the future of the world's economy. Will it be full of digital currency and the problems that come with it? Joining us to chat about that is Chris Brady (chrisbrady.com), Founder and CEO of Life Platform. He looks at the future of Bitcoin, the plans of the world's central banks and the inevitable rollout of debt to create digital currencies. He also examines the dangers of going with a digital currency, especially the tracking aspect and the programmability standards.

Throughout all of history, governments have always tended toward corruption. It's human nature. It's also why our founding fathers created the government they did. Joining us today is author Steven Rabb (thefoundersspeech.com) to discuss how everything the founders warned us against is happening. He looks at the constant end running of the Constitution to prop up an ideology, the intense pushback by those in the swamp against attempts at reform, and the move away from public education into private or home schools. Our country is slipping precariously close to the edge of chaos: returning to the founders' idea of the U.S. is the best way to keep that from happening.

In Mark 11, Jesus asked the Pharisees to decide if the baptism of John was from heaven or from men. Instead of making a decision, they sat on the fence and claimed ignorance. Artur Pawlowski (streetchurch.ca), Founder of Street Church Ministries in Alberta, Canada, spoke in our area recently and John caught up with him for an interview. Artur shows what the battle ahead will look like for Western civilization and what we must do to win. We must get off the fence and stand up to tyranny. We know what tyranny looks like from history so we should be able to recognize it now. Making that decision is scary, but with God on our side and an iron resolve, we can successfully make a stand and choose what side of the fence we want to be on.

If what is happening doesn't make sense, there must be another agenda afoot. And today, there are many things that don't make sense. Back with us this week is John Guandolo (understandingthethreat.com), Founder of Understanding the Threat. He maintains that many of these illogical events – like the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan – are intentional. Change agents come to town trying to distract you from the truth of what's happening but people are beginning to see through the charade and wake up. He shows us what we can do.

Finally this week we welcome to the show Joseph Puder (frontpagemag.com), columnist at FrontPage Magazine. He examines America's reputation in the world after the pullout from Afghanistan. Our allies around the world don't trust us and our enemies are more emboldened. Does that mean attacks on U.S. soil are imminent?

Recently, Artur Pawlowski (streetchurch.ca), Founder of Street Church Ministries in Alberta, Canada, traveled to John's church to give a speech and John caught up with him for an impromptu interview. Artur and John discuss the battle ahead for Western civilization and how we need God in this battle if we are going to win. The enemy is clearly defined; they are the totalitarians and the ones who help them. One of the key reasons people have fallen to the enemy in the past, has been the failure to stand up en masse to the tyranny. We must learn from this lesson. And if we are going to be successful in standing up, we'd better get started because the enemy has already begun to fight.

Why did our freedom revolution in the U.S. and by extension the UK, work but the revolution in France fail? In this week's boralogue, John looks at the tale of two revolutions and how ours has worked and why it still succeeds. Some of the things that caused the other revolution to ultimately fail, however, are starting to crop up here and threaten the continued success of our great experiment. It is up to us to keep that from happening.

Did the coronavirus originate with tainted food or is there a more sinister backstory? Joining us is Brandon Weichert (www.weichertreport.com), Manager of the Weichert Report, who points out that there is a military-run virology lab in Wuhan, China that may or may not be a bio-weapons lab. He covers China's tactics with intellectual property theft and coveting of scientists from around the world, both of which could have led to this coronavirus crisis.

How has the coronavirus affected the stock markets, both here and around the world? Dr. Michael Busler (www.stockton.edu), Professor of Finance at Stockton University, joins us to discuss the psychology of markets and his views on how much of an impact the virus will make on global economics.

As a federal bureaucrat, do you have loyalty to your agency and your director, or do you have loyalty to the Constitution? We welcome to the program retired FBI Special Agent David Baldovin, who examines the need for reform in government agencies and the inevitable circling of the wagons when one of their own is on the hook for corruption. Fighting the good fight shows who and what you are loyal to.

John's quote of the week:
"Why, if we are such a terrible country (as we have been lectured about over the last thirty or forty years), do thousands and thousands of people want to come here? Why isn't it so good where they are? This is a glaring contradiction in what the media are preaching at us."

On this week's extra segment, we play an interview from June 2002 with the now late Christopher Story about Germany's attempt to dominate the EU and competition with Russia to build a new soviet reaching from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
