A military should be focused on defense of a country and being better than the enemy. But our military has begun to focus on social engineering issues instead. First up this week is Retired Air Force Colonel Mike Angley, who served 25 years in the Office of Special Investigations for the Air Force. He looks at new woke policies in the military, including snitch phone lines and diversity training. Many of these policies would lower morale, discipline, and unit cohesion. In other words, defense and being better than our enemies have been overtaken by political correctness.

And when it comes to government policies, our current administration is reverting back to Obama-era programs, despite their previous failures. Back with us today is Ken Timmerman (kentimmerman.com), CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. He examines the Biden Middle East policy, especially where it concerns Iran, and how Iran has not had to concede anything in a newly resurrected Iran Deal. He also looks at the future of the Abraham Accords now that the Trump administration is out of power.

We may never know exactly where the Covid virus came from, but it's looking more like it could have originated in a lab in China. Rounding out the show this week is Dr. Roger Klein (rogerdklein.com), Chief Medical Officer at the cancer genomic company Omniseq. There will be investigations into the virus's origins, but will anything come of it? Will we learn anything from the past year? Dr. Klein discusses supply chain deficiencies, the need to rely solely on science and not politics, and whether lockdowns were the right move.

The Biden administration's Middle East policy, especially where it concerns Iran, is reverting back to what the Obama administration had done before – despite the previous failures. Back with us today is Ken Timmerman (kentimmerman.com), CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran. He explores why, if it always ends in failure, the current administration would bother with the Obama-era Middle East plan. Apparently Iran has not had to concede anything in this newly resurrected Iran Deal. He also looks at the future of the Abraham Accords now that the Trump administration is out of power.

Israel is very much in the news right now but the media narratives are not matching the facts on the ground. John flies solo today, giving you the truth rather than the spin machine. He looks at the Temple Mount riots, the violence in East Jerusalem, and rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel and Israel's response. It's important to understand the truth of what's happening, both geopolitically and historically.

The Deal of the Century – the new Israeli-Palestinian peace plan – has been proposed, but what is the hang up? In this week's boralogue, John looks at the need for a viable peace partner. He shows how both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have not exhibited a willingness over the years to work toward peace with Israel. Whether or not they cooperate, the peace train may soon leave the station. And Palestinian leadership may wish they would have boarded.

Socialism has never been successfully implemented simply because it can't be. Author and political forecaster Gerard Lameiro (www.greatnewsforamerica.com) is back with us to discuss several examples of failed socialist governments and how it only stays afloat when capitalism supports it behind the scenes. He also gives his predictions for the 2020 election and the future of the Democrat Party.

Socialism isn't the only example of government interference and dysfunction. Howard Husock (www.civilsocietyawards.com), Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, describes how federal dollars from our government have changed the character of local civil organizations away from grassroots values and serving the community.

Separation of church and state has been overused in legal arguments and somewhat misunderstood overall. We round out the show this week with Andrea Picciotti-Bayer (www.thecatholicassociation.org), Legal Advisor for the Catholic Association, who examines the Blaine Amendment in relation to public funding for Catholic schools.

John's quote of the week:
"What happens with socialism is you have big amounts of money, bureaucrats see it, they use giving to XYZ impoverished group as the rationale for taking it. They then seize the money, usually through taxation or other means. They take a huge chunk for themselves. Then they pass along a fraction of what they've seized and give it to the target group. That's the immorality of the system."

On this week's extra segment, we play a double feature on the European Union from days of Steel past. First up is Robert Congdon from February 2012 followed by Pat Caddell from June 2018. Both give predictions about the future of the EU and it's interesting to see the difference in opinions that six years makes.
