leftist anti-Semitism

Last year turned out to be a banner year for mainstream media misinformation. They seemed so sure of their stories when published, but when facts came out, very few if any admitted they were wrong. Leading off the show this week is Brandon Smith (alt-market.us), Founder of the Alternative Market Project. He looks back at media lowlights in 2021, including talking points like 'pandemic of the unvaccinated,' 'January 6 was an insurrection,' and 'alternative energies didn't cause Texas's winter grid collapse.' Headlines were in large fonts; corrections, if any, were but a tiny footnote.

Unaccountable media occurs not just in the U.S., but also in international press. Nowhere is this more evident than in coverage of Israel. Tamar Sternthal (camera.org), Director of CAMERA's Israel office, joins us this week to look at two stories the media got wrong in 2021. First, Israel was made out to be the aggressor toward Gaza when the facts show that Gaza attacked initially. The second story involved a professor with ties to Hamas promoted as a bridge builder when in reality he taught his students to hate Israel. Once again, neither publisher was held to much account.

Finally this week, we dive into the topic of digital vaccine passports with longtime friend of the show Pat Wood (citizensforfreespeech.org), Executive Director of Citizens for Free Speech and Editor of Technocracy News. He examines the globalist plan to track every human being on earth, using governments and private companies and organizations to get it done. This plan has been in place for decades and with technology finally in place, the globalists are on the cusp of realizing their dream. John notes that this dream looks suspiciously like one written in the Book of Revelation.

We all know that the mainstream media has devolved into a propaganda machine for the Left. They have now been exposed promoting anti-Israel 'news.' Joining us today from Israel is Tamar Sternthal (camera.org), Director of CAMERA's Israel office. She gives examples of media malfeasance, including the promotion of Israel as aggressor against Gaza when Gaza was the attacker first; and a feature of a professor with ties to Hamas as being a bridge builder when, if you listen to his lectures in Arabic, he is the exact opposite, teaching his students to hate Israel. She and John also discuss the state of journalism today.

Now that hostilities have theoretically abated in the latest Israel-Gaza war, it's important to look at, and learn from, what really happened there. Back with us today is Bruce Thornton (fresnostate.edu), Professor of Classics and Humanities at California State University in Fresno. It's hard to filter out the reality of the situation in the Middle East – or any situation – when politicians and the media push lies meant to further narratives. Examples include how the Palestinians want peace, despite their actions; the climate debate is settled, except the debate has never happened; and universities say they are all about education, but it really seems like they're all about grant money and donations. Narratives may sound nice, but when you're trying to solve real problems in the real world, all they do is get in the way.
