One the biggest concerns facing us – regardless of who emerges as the victor in this election – is the threat of globalism. Back with us this week is Alex Newman (thenewamerican.com), Senior Editor at the New American magazine, who looks deeper into the United Nations' new plan for globalism called the Great Reset. They plan to eliminate individual freedom, sovereignty, and the free economic system, not to mention Christianity. Everything that God has ordained on this earth, they want to flip upside down. It's not so much a reset of the current system as it is a complete abolishment of it.

Why is it that the division and rancor is so great today but a few decades ago, it wasn't nearly as bad? John takes a look at the differences between then and now in terms of commonality of worldviews. We didn't get here overnight; it took years to create the divide. We then replay a still relevant speech John gave in 2007 entitled, 'How Did We Get Here?' He discusses the Marxist takeover of education and the rise of consensus thinking.

Finally, there is a push by far left groups to end-run the electoral college by enacting the National Popular Vote movement. State legislatures would agree to send electors to vote based on who won the popular vote nationally – regardless of who won the individual state. Trent England (saveourstates.com), Founder and Executive Director of Save Our States, is back with us to discuss how this would change politics for the worse, forcing politicians to placate their base rather than building coalitions.

We're taking a break from our post-election series today, but rest assured it will return soon.  There is a push by far left groups to end-run the electoral college by enacting the National Popular Vote movement. He also gets into the inevitable legal challenges should this movement become a reality.

Whirlwind of important topics on this week's show. First up, we welcome back defense and aerospace veteran Reuben Johnson (www.thebulwark.com) who examines the geopolitics of Belarus, with their growing uprisings; Russia and its future; and China's inroads into Eastern Europe with their Belt and Road Initiative.

Back here in America, the far leftist crowd is determined to rid our country of the Electoral College. Trent England (www.saveourstates.com), Founder and Executive Director of Save Our States, discusses the effort to convert us from a representative government for everyone to, what he dubs, the “United Big Cities of America.”

Science and medicine are supposed to be free of politics but it's an election year so all the rules are out the window. Research writer Dennis Behreandt (www.thenewamerican.com) is back with us to look at the science behind hydroxychloroquine as well as the bad publicity it has received simply because President Trump lauded its use. It's supposed to be scientifically – not politically – correct in the world of science.

Next we travel to the Middle East with David Rubin (www.shilohisraelchildren.org), former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, who joins us from his home there. He looks at both the strategic and economic implications of the Israel-United Arab Emirates agreement, focusing on the constant threat from Iran and the financial benefits to the UAE of partnering with the Middle East's only democracy.

We wrap up this week with John's analysis of the government criteria for future vaccine use and the ethical and legal implications in vaccine development and implementation.

America is beautiful but there's a movement afoot to ignore the amber waves of grain and focus more on the gleam of alabaster cities. Trent England (www.saveourstates.com), Founder and Executive Director of Save Our States, joins us to look at the effort to replace the Electoral College with the National Popular Vote. It's better to have a true representative government than one beholden to a few metropolitan areas. As Mr. England says, “We would become the United Big Cities of America.”

John finishes out today's podcast looking at the rules of the Constitution when it comes to voting, how the government was set up in a two-chamber system, and how progressives try to end-run the Constitution in order to get what they want.
