Neo-Marxism

Rules for thee but not for me. That's the mantra underlying America's new woke belief system. Joining us today is freelance writer and author Larry Eubank (larryeubank.com) to discuss his new article Wokeism: The New American Orthodoxy. He looks at how the laws and rules when applied to radical leftists are ignored, because for them, the woke orthodoxy trumps everything – including the rule of law. But conservatives are expected to live up to those same laws. For every double standard on the surface, there's an undeclared single standard underneath. And that's the orthodoxy.

Critical race theory and the 1619 Project have set up shop in America's schools, but more and more parents are starting to realize that their children are being fed a steady diet of hate and incorrect history. April Few (uspie.org), Communications Director at U.S. Parents Involved in Education (U.S. PIE), describes how her organization has been involved in the fight against critical race theory and offers some solutions for parents who are facing this in their child's school. Critical race theory teaches children to hate our country and to hate each other. And April correctly identifies the ultimate goal behind CRT.

We notice that freedoms are starting to erode in the United States, but how are the other countries in the Westersphere faring? We begin this week by looking at a couple of stories from our neighbors to the north. Joining us is Christine Douglass-Williams (frontpagemag.com), Associate Editor at FrontPage Magazine and current Canadian citizen. She looks at Bill C10 which would limit private user's speech online if the government doesn't approve of it. She also examines how two people have been arrested simply for attending a church in Ontario Province that defied lockdown orders and held a service. Backlash is building in Canada, but is it too little too late?

We then turn our attention to Australia where John was a guest on Joshua Ferrara's podcast recently. The two discuss the importance of worldviews and the friction caused by Marxist thinking and tactics. They also look at how Australia is handling political correctness and methods employed by leftists against conservatives who won't put up with the woke agenda. Totalitarianism doesn't happen all at once; it occurs gradually over time. It's important to spot the increments and stop it before it's too late.

John finds himself as a guest on another podcast, this time Down Under on Joshua Ferrara's show in Australia. They discuss a number of topics, including the importance of worldviews, the division and friction caused by Marxist thinking and tactics, and how to stand up against persecution. John also explains the devious tactic used when conservatives complain about what Marxists are doing and are then subsequently labeled as racist or something else. Fascinating conversation!

Sometimes, when things change and a paradigm shift is upon you, it helps to review how we got to this point.  On today's podcast, John looks at the long progressive march through America's institutions for the past century, as well as the change liberalism underwent from classic liberalism to Neo-Marxism.  There were right-leaning push-backs with the Republican revolution in 1994 and the Tea Party in 2008.  The woke crowd woke up and you began to see "racist!" and "white supremacist" and other epithets emerge, only to grow stronger by the time Donald Trump came on the scene.  John offers suggestions on how to overcome the current crisis.  It involves understanding what the crisis is and being able to talk to people on the other side and let them know you care.  And of course, it always helps to pray for them.
