President Trump has recently put a stop to the teaching of critical race theory in federal agencies, but what exactly is the theory? Jeffrey K. Mann (www.youtube.com/user/JKMannsr), Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, joins us to define the concept and show the differences between what race used to mean and what it means now. It turns out that power plays a role in the current definition.
Dr. Mann goes on to explain that when there's a desire by some to do something about racism but they admit that it's baked into the culture, the only logical result is to burn down the country and start over. Plus, cancel culture is becoming a problem, and not just against conservatives – those leveling the accusations are falling victim as well.
There are rules for thee, but not for me. Seems to be the woke battle cry today. In this week’s premium boralogue, John looks at the outrage against people and companies for thoughts and policies that were completely reasonable five minutes ago. Your words and deeds will be targeted, but eventually, even your silence will be labeled racism. John breaks down several logical fallacies wrapped up in progressive narratives. When words are weaponized in pursuit of those narratives, truth becomes a casualty.
Back with us today is long-time friend of the show, historian and former Senior Associate at the Department of Education Dennis Cuddy (www.newswithviews.com). He looks at the inherent racism behind many progressive institutions, using Margaret Sanger and the roots of Planned Parenthood as an example. Dr. Cuddy goes on to discuss the link between Sanger and the eugenics movement here with Hitler and his more diabolical plans, and how the Illuminati factored into all of this.
In today's premium boralogue, John asks the question: do we really want to go through secession or another Civil War again? We have crossed a dangerous barrier away from personal freedom to only being able to think or say that which the government approves. In order to deescalate the growing tension, people should stop trying to enshrine their beliefs into law in order to punish another group of people who don't believe as they do. This country was founded on freedom. And it should stay that way!
How did we get from the solid American experiment that led to the greatest country in history to today's attempted Marxist takeover? In this week's premium boralogue, John looks at two streams of toxic thought that has pervaded our culture for the past century: Marxism and postmodernism. Contrast those with America's solid foundation of Judeo-Christian values and you see the stark contrast we experience every day in this country.
