Radical leftists are trying to fundamentally transform our country. As a result, people are pushing back in several different ways. The first way can be found in turning the left's sanctuary status campaign back around on them. Joining us this week from the Oklahoma State House of Representatives are Speaker Charles McCall and Representative Jay Steagall. They discuss State House Bill 1236, which gives the state the power to review and if needed overrule executive orders from Washington DC that violate the Constitution. States are beginning to fight back by exercising their tenth amendment rights.

Another example of pushing back against the radicals can be seen in the state of Oregon right now. Michael McCarter (greateridaho.org), President of Move Oregon's Border, describes his group's initiative to transfer several eastern counties in Oregon into the state of Idaho, effectively moving the border between each state. There are several steps to make this happen, but the initiative is now on the May 2021 ballot in Oregon. There is a great frustration among many conservatives who are forced to live with terrible policies just because they reside inside a blue state's borders. We'll see if their effort to escape that will be successful.

Finally this week, John and Producer Steve sit down to look at some of the crazier ways that people are pushing back, including conspiracy theories and civil wars. A civil war is being waged in both political parties between the establishment types and those that want change. There are also conspiracy theories surrounding not only the January 6 incident at the Capitol, but also with vaccines. With so much misinformation flowing from politicians and the media, people are finding all sorts of ways to cope and push back against the radicals.

The Left originated the sanctuary status – an ignoring of the law based on ideology. But what happens when you need sanctuary from the law? Joining us today from the Oklahoma State House of Representatives are Speaker Charles McCall and Representative Jay Steagall. They discuss State House Bill 1236, which gives the state Attorney General in Oklahoma the power to review and the state legislature the power to overrule executive orders from Washington DC that violate the Constitution. A few other states are attempting this as well, highlighting not only the separation of government powers but also the power afforded to states in the tenth amendment.
