U.S. Capitol Protest

The long-predicted day of reckoning caused by severe governmental mismanagement and kicking the can down the road is at our doorstep. John flies solo today looking at the perfect storm of energy policy inflation and monetary inflation coupled with several concerning geopolitical events. The current administration and the powers that be behind the scenes are all seemingly doing the wrong things or worse, nothing at all to help. People are starting to realize that something is very wrong. On the day of reckoning, one group of people will look to the Constitution to guide them through the chaos; the other group will look to destroy it. That's the battle we're in right now.

Narratives have flown freely ever since January 6, 2021, and it's tough at times to get the real story, especially from the leftist mainstream media. One man has written a fact-filled article detailing the day's events. Back with us today after a long hiatus is the author of that article, Bill Jasper (thenewamerican.com), Senior Editor at The New American magazine. He and John discuss the use of the word ‘insurrection' to describe the event, the lack of firearms by the protestors, the motives for the continuous leftist narrative, the so-called “bi-partisan” J6 committee, and the insertion of agents provocateurs on that day. It's all J6 all the time on today's podcast.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked this week the Emergencies Act in an effort to defeat the trucker Freedom Convoy – a rally that has occupied parts of Ottawa for three weeks to protest Trudeau's stifling Covid mandates. John and Producer Steve discuss the implications of the Emergencies Act and compare it to Hitler and the leadup to Nazi rule in the 1930s. Anyone who opposes the government's – whether it be in Canada or the U.S. – official position will be branded a terrorist and once that happens, the government's actions against those people, no matter how egregious and anti-freedom, will be deemed justified. It's a dangerous precedent to set.

John flies solo on today's podcast, looking at the dysfunctional government messaging about the trucker protests in Canada and about our media in this country. For years, progressives and leftists have shouted praise for protests, occupation of buildings, and disruption of schools – all in the name of democracy. But now, when their ideological foes are protesting, it's a threat and must be stopped. It becomes nearly impossible to march in lockstep with a group of people that keeps changing directions and doesn't bother to tell you. The only thing constant in this are the double standards. Or massive flippage, as John calls it.

Narratives are beginning to fail and what were once considered conspiracy theories by those in government and the media are now emerging as facts. First up this week, we look at our armed forces. Jay Richards (heritage.org), Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, joins us to examine the widespread rejection of religious exemptions for Covid shots in the military. Is there a hatred of religion or are they trying to purge politically incorrect men and women from our armed services? Whatever the case, our military members are fighting back in court. There is no Covid-19 exemption to the First Amendment.

Another failed narrative from the media is the insistence that January 6 was an insurrection. Even the FBI has rejected that. An independent journalist present at the U.S. Capitol a year ago recorded the event on his video camera. That journalist, Steve Baker (thepragmaticconstitutionalist.com), is with us this week. He recounts what he saw that day and how nine months later, federal authorities are charging him with a number of crimes. The purveyors of narrative never like it when anyone challenges them.

Finally, we travel north of the border to look at Canada and the failing narrative of diversity and inclusion – by those who practice neither. Rounding out the show this week is Christine Douglass-Williams (frontpagemag.com), Associate Editor at FrontPage Magazine. She recalls how a difference in ideological opinion surrounding the Israel-Palestinian issue almost got a woman kicked off a school board for “Islamophobic” comments. This points to a larger problem of condoning anti-semitism in the name of diversity and inclusion.

An independent journalist present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, recorded the event on his video camera. Now, he's being charged by the federal government with a number of crimes, not the least of which is racketeering. That journalist, Steve Baker (thepragmaticconstitutionalist.com), is with us today. He recounts what he saw just over a year ago and discusses what the government is doing to him now and why – they don't like what he has to say about January 6 nor his footage of that day. He also discusses those who have been incarcerated and held for the past year with no trial.

The Warsaw Security Forum was held last week, highlighting the geopolitics of military defense. First up this week is one of our regular guests who attended that conference, Ukraine-based defense expert Reuben Johnson. He examines NATO's defense against possible Russian aggression, the future of the manufacture of weapon systems, how countries are questioning the Biden administration after the debacle in Afghanistan, and China's provocation toward Taiwan as they deal with internal problems.

Next up, we dive deeper into China's provocation toward Taiwan and President Biden's meeting with Xi Jinping. We welcome up Stephen Bryen (centerforsecuritypolicy.org), Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy. He explains the history between China, Taiwan, and the U.S. and how the Biden administration is putting out mixed messages as to their foreign policy. In the end, no one is sure who's in charge at the White House with their fractured foreign policy, which ultimately leaves Taiwan in greater danger.

We move away from geopolitics and ask the question: what is the future of the Christian church amid all of the chaos in the world? Joining us next is Mike LeMay, retired General Manager of Q90FM in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He discusses how we are coming in to a time of religious persecution where we will have to choose between worldly churches and Bible-believing underground churches. Christians can fight the battles of this world, but we must keep our hearts in the Lord. Living in this fallen world, we may lose battles from time to time, but with God on our side, we ultimately win the war.

Finally, we take a look back at January 6, 2021. It wasn't an insurrection, but there was violence and the identity of some of the planners of that violence are being revealed. Rounding out the show this week is author, activist, and podcast host Suzzanne Monk (trumptalk.us). Some of the regular citizens who were arrested that day are still being held without a trial, while it has been discovered that Antifa and the FBI both had a hand in planning the part that was violent. With overwhelming odds against people who support former President Trump, it seems the Left wants conservatives to live in fear.

While the events of January 6th were definitely not an insurrection, there were some behind the scenes planners. Where those planners' work is quite disturbing. Joining us today is author, activist, and podcast host Suzzanne Monk (trumptalk.us). She discusses how people arrested on January 6 are still being jailed without a trial, how Antifa and the FBI were more involved than regular citizens in the planning, and how the powers that be on the Left want conservative patriots to live in fear. The FBI is focused more on planning events like this or harassing parents who speak out at school board meetings than actually doing their job.

What are the top terror concerns for the United States? The Taliban? China? Iran? Well, according to the FBI, it's "domestic terrorists," which consists of anyone who disagrees with the official government narrative. Joining us today is Christopher Holton (centerforsecuritypolicy.org), Senior Analyst and Director of State Outreach at the Center for Security Policy. He looks at how the term 'white supremacist' has been used to label dissenters and to launch domestic terror task forces. This rings hollow, though, because how many white supremacists are on the FBI's Most Wanted List? Zero.

A Little American History Truth

Broadcast Running Time: 01:19:17

Happy Independence weekend everyone! It's important to learn the truthful history of our country, but the prevailing leftist narrative today is that because some of our Founding Fathers were slave owners, any good that they accomplished is forgotten. First up on this holiday show is Bill Federer (americanminute.com), President of AmeriSearch, Inc. He gives an accurate account of the history of slavery in America: who held slaves, who initiated the abolitionist movement, and where the two political parties have stood on the issue throughout the years. The narrative is that the U.S. is irredeemable because of our history with slavery. What is often ignored is that we also got rid of it.

Much of the immigration debate today is centered around our southern border, but with the current administration's proposed policies, should the focus be elsewhere? We welcome back former U.S. immigration Senior Special Agent Michael Cutler (michaelcutler.net) to the program. He asserts that because thousands of people are entering our country and then are bused away from the border, the U.S. needs to beef up interior enforcement. A majority of the time, there are no interviews and no investigations done, which means random U.S. cities are seeing a sudden spike of new un-vetted residents.

Finally this week, we look at the intriguing possibility of a constitutional crisis should these election audits prove President Trump actually won the election. Rounding out the show is retired engineer John Green, who examines the Supreme Court's role in election integrity prior to and after November 3. Because they refused to hear a case that could have cleared up some questions right after the election, SCOTUS could soon be in the unenviable position of determining if President Biden is really the President. A constitutional crisis may be looming in the coming months.
